Inclusion and equity
Throughout my training I have been fortunate to have excellent mentors and teachers whose qualities I aim to emulate and pass on to the next generation of scientists. My experiences have shown me that the efforts we invest as educators and mentors do matter. Through support and mentored training experiences I aim to maximize trainees potential and access to opportunities, especially women, non-traditional and underrepresented students. I have a strong commitment to increasing diversity in science and will continue to promote and support initiatives toward this end.
